One Girl, Two Cities

Throwback Thursday – 7.26.1994

journalJon came over last night. We watched Son In Law and most of The Man Without A Face. It was fun. Jon came over about 6:30pm and we took him home about 10:00. Turns out we can’t go to Valley Fair on Wednesday, tomorrow, cuz I have an orthodontist appointment. Oh well.

We’re hoping for Thursday, but Jon might not be able to go cuz he’s leaving for Canada on Friday. I can always find another friend, but I would like to see him one more time before he leaves. At least I’ll have something to do while he’s gone.

Carrie’s coming from the 3rd to the 6th! (Jon’s coming back the 6th.) I can’t wait until Carrie comes. She’s spending one night at my house and probably one at Abby’s. I suggested spending a day at the Mall of America or Valley Fair. She liked both ideas.

We’ll have a lot to talk about when she comes. Carrie can see how big Bear and Sandy are and she can tell me ALL about Arizona… I can’t WAIT! Well, Jon just called so I hafta go. BYE!

It’s nice to see that I was just as excited about telling people about my cats back then as I am now.

And can anyone else relate to the fun that is the orthodontist? I had braces for awhile and also wore headgear. Thankfully, I only had to wear the headgear at night.

I have a Mortified update! They had a huge response from the Twin Cities, so they’re holding 3 sets of auditions and mine is scheduled for Dec 5. The show will be Feb 27, 2016 at Varsity Theater so save the date!

Thanks for reading, and don’t forget to check out The Beth Next Door as well.

You’re going to rock that audition! I’m so excited for you! And yes, the joy of the orthodontist. I didn’t have the headgear but I did have those horrible rubber bands that stretched across your mouth in different directions. Those were awful.
