One Girl, Two Cities

Throwback Thursday 8.11.1994

journalYesterday was the BEST birthday EVER! It rained so we went to the mall to see “The Little Rascals.” (That’s the cutest movie!)

Anyway, I invited Jon to go along while Sara and Libby invited Matt, Joe C and Kyle M. Our group was SO loud in the theater!  Afterwards, we walked around the mall, got dinner and went to Aladdin’s Castle, a video arcade. I got 5 temporary tattoos: Fred, Wilma and Pebbles Flintstone, along with Dino and their car.

Here is what I got for my birthday:

Clear nail polish

The Client

Final Friends #3

“Reality Bites” soundtrack CD

The Three Musketeers

“Music Box” CD

! Body Spray

Cat bumper sticker and shirt

Cat poster

I guess I was feeling all fancy by saying “Ciao” – haha. I had completely forgotten about Christopher Pike’s Final Friends series until I read this entry. I used to love reading young adult thrillers. What were some series you read when you were 13?

I’m feeling a little better since last week’s post but I’m still touch and go. Next week I have my monthly therapy session so we’ll see what comes of that. I should probably look into going twice a month but I’m waiting for new insurance to kick in and then I’ll have to reevaluate. I love my therapist but she’s independent and doesn’t accept all health insurance right now, and paying out of pocket for therapy is really sucky. Thanks to everyone who offered words of love and support and continue to do so.

Now head over to The Beth Next Door where you can enjoy her Throwback Thursday posts.

Purchases through Local Deals help support One Girl, Two Cities.

I love this – I remember Aladdin’s Castle, too funny! And Reality Bites! That soundtrack was actually pretty decent if I remember correctly!

And I’m glad things are a little better this week. Continuing to think of you and sending you peaceful vibes!
