My mom is throwing a party for her friend, Y, today. She’s 40 years old. It was supposed to be a surprise, but someone slipped and she found out. It’s an “Over the Hill” theme. I made a big poster by hand (which is actually pretty good) and a banner on the computer. Sara hasta put up the decorations cuz everyone else has already done their share.
Besides all the fun I had, yesterday was a sad day. Two policemen and a K9 were shot to death by an Iowan. The first guy shot was checking to see if he was alright cuz he was sleeping in his car in a church parking lot. The Iowan killed him and took his gun. Later on in the afternoon they stuck a K9 on him and he shot it, along with its owner. Both died. They eventually caught the guy though. Well, I guess I’ll go. BYE!
Well, that took a depressing turn. So let’s think about happy things. Last night I enjoyed seeing Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things, and it made me think back to November when we played the Minsgame. I’m not 100% about the other members of the BOSS team, but I think I may play at least for about half of June. I recently moved temporarily and will be moving again probably around July 1, so I find that to be excellent incentive for getting rid of more stuff since I hate moving. Have you thought about downsizing the amount of stuff you own?
