Today was fairly normal. Well, in my opinion anyway. We actually played in band today. I don’t like Mr C too well, and Mr H is the most BORING teacher I have ever encountered. I actually almost fell asleep. We start tennis tomorrow in gym. Mr A’s gonna put a sound system in the industrial art room. BYE!

PS I miss not having Jon in my school.

I miss seeing Jon as often as I can. I wish he went to Kenwood so I could see him every day. Weekends aren’t enough. I hope I’ll get used to it.

I went to his house last night. We played Mortal Kombat on his Sega and he kicked my butt. We tossed his football around and he accidentally tattooed me on the hip. We had a lot of fun.

Today we went to see “Camp Nowhere” with Sara and Matt. It was really good. From what I saw, anyway. BYE!

Apparently, I had a rough time going to a different school from Jon. I promise it doesn’t last for much longer.

There are many upcoming events that should be pretty fun.

Opening Sept 15: Tiny Homes exhibit at Light Grey Art Lab – This is a great little space, and I’ve enjoyed a few of their exhibits.

Sept 19: Ivey Awards – Basically the Tony Awards of the Twin Cities

Oct 15: Minnesota Blogger Conference – Read my recaps from 2014 and 2015

Oct 21: TedXMinneapolis – ReVerb (tickets on sale Sept 13) – I’ve attended 3 TedXMinneapolis events so far and look forward to attending again.

I still love it here in the Twin Cities because there’s always something unique going on, and there are opportunities to connect with new people. The tabbies and I are settling into our quiet St Paul life, and I’m heading to NYC at the end of the month so I’ll miss them like crazy. I haven’t been to NYC in years, though, so I can’t wait to see the sights, eat all of the food, and hang out with friends who live there. Are you traveling anytime soon?
