One Girl, Two Cities

Throwback Thursday 9.12.1994

journal

I miss Jon SO much. Andy and I are becoming better friends. He was really hyper on the bus today compared to how he normally is. Libby and I kept messing up his hair – he hates it when people do that.

I have a playing test tomorrow. I hope I do good. I don’t know if C can play it or not. I guess we’ll see.

I can’t wait to go to Jon’s football game on the 29th. He tries to explain the “game of football” to me sometimes but I don’t get it AT ALL. Oh well.

I can’t believe I actually got a picture of Jon. We traded so it was fair. He gave me a picture that he got taken out of school. He’s so cute! Jon wouldn’t even show me this year’s picture of him cuz he said the lady hesitated before she took the picture so he made a face. BYE!

I’ve been busy traveling and not been great about posting these, but on the plus side – I’ve had a wonderful time traveling! I spent a long weekend in New York City, and a regular weekend in Chicago. I was fortunate to spend time with many incredible people, and I ate my way through both cities (check out my Instagram account if you’re curious). Hopefully I’ll be able to write a couple posts about both at some point.

In the meantime, there are two cool things about me on the internet right now.

The first is this interview I did with Visit Saint Paul: Five Questions with Laura vanZandt. They’re also going to write a piece on vegan-friendly restaurants in St Paul with my suggestions.

The second is that I was nominated for Minneapolis Happening’s Happening List for Best Blogger. Voting is open through the end of October, and you can vote once per email address. So head on over and cast your vote! I won last year, and the support truly means so much to me.

What are you looking forward to the most this month? Let me know in the comments!

LOL I love the “explain the game of football” to me – I still don’t completely understand football! I have loved following along with all your travel adventures as of late!

I think it’s completely ok to not understand football. 😉 By this point in time, I think I know more than I’d like to! Thanks for enjoying my adventures. They’ve been so great!
