I haven’t written about mental health in awhile (see: You Don’t Need to Disappear) but it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t continued playing a huge role in my life. As an easy way to share my thoughts, I’ve taken to Instagram stories and decided to post a few of them on YouTube so you can check them out below. (I know they’re vertical but that’s how IG works. Profuse apologies, and consider the fact that it probably drives me battier than you.)
Please keep in mind that these are my own thoughts and I’m not trying to speak for everyone who has depression and anxiety. What works for one person may not work for others, but my goal is to inspire those with mental health challenges to keep speaking up to decrease the stigma and know that you’re not alone.
